With a difficult start to our 2010 year, we are even more grateful to be approaching its end filled with hope, faith, and gratitude. It's been a year of loss, growth, and learning to appreciate the every-day moments of joy. We are thankful.
Elijah continues his position as Director of the Annual Fund at MBA. He has been working hard and doing a great job. He loves coming home to his girlies and specializes in those "Daddy-games" that usually involve shrieking, running, tickling, and uncontrollable laughing.
I'm still loving being at home with my girls. My moments spent with them are my challenge and my blessing. Our little baby is now the size of an avocado (each week Aida and Sophie check in to see "what food our baby is like now") and is due to make an appearance around the 1st of June. We have enjoyed lots of visits from my family this year - someone different each month from June-November. Just one of the many benefits of having lots of brothers and sisters!
We can't believe how much our girls have grown this year. They are best friends, loving on each other, comforting each other, and getting on each other's nerves every now and then.
Aida loves to look at books and run around outside.
Sophie is our singer and dancer.
They both love to paint, run around the house half-naked screaming like banshees, and make each other laugh. They are going to be good big sisters and are already talking about how they will snuggle the baby and read to it. If you're not new to our blog you already know that one of their baby name suggestions was "Happycats." Well, they are now firmly committed to this idea and often refer to their future brother or sister as "Baby Happycats."
We are thankful for each of you, our family and friends near and far. Blessings to you as we draw near to the celebration of Christ's birth.
Feel free to check back in here every now and then. I try to post little snippets a few times a week.
Love, The Reynolds Family
